Auxiliary airfield Boschplan (link in Dutch) was a small auxiliary airfield that existed just before World War II.
It was located in the Amsterdamse Bosch (a park which was then still under development, hence 'Bosch-plan'), on the "Koeweide" field.
Because the park was still under development the runways were in the middle of the meadows.
Although the airfield was available it is not known if it was even used.

Amsterdam Boschplan, 2009; now completely surrounded by tall trees, the field itself is still completely free.

Oddly enough the airfield itself is still in its original state.
Surrounded by the trees of the park that was only a plan in 1939, the auxiliary airfield is still a grassland and still serves an aviation purpose.
The ground radar for Amsterdam Schiphol airport is located on the northwestern edge of the field, hidden in the trees.
It is located a few hundred yards (Google Maps) from the original Schiphol Airport (now known as Schiphol East) and the A-7 motorway
