Airfield Brandenburg-Neuendorf (german: Flugplatz Brandenburg-Neuendorf) was opened in the 1930s as an airfield for the Arado aircraft manufacturing plant.
After World War II ended in 1945 it was primarily used by the Red Army/Soviet armed forces. In the period 1965/1966 it is known to have been in use by helicopter regiments. The airfield closed in the late 1960s to make room for a large steel mill

The area has changed vermy much over the decades, mostly because of the presence of the steel mill. Some small patches of the former airfield remain though. South of the steel mill some platforms can still be identified. The largest is a former helicopter platform, some others are the foundations of hangars that have been taken down. The area also still has some well camouflaged bunkers on the site.

The rest are presumably hangar floors
