Brims Mains air field (also known as RAF Brims Mains) was an airfield in the North of Scotland.
The airfield was built in 1940 as an Emergency Landing Ground for RAF Castletown. It provided a place where aircraft could land if Castletown became unsuitable for flying for any reason, or as an over-spill accommodation for aircraft if there was not enough room at the parent station. The landing ground itself was simply a number of grass fields joined together by removing boundary walls and fences and filling in ditches. A complement of men from RAF Castletown was billeted in nearby farmhouses and did a weekly shift, guarding the fuel dump and any aircraft that may have used the Emergency Landing Ground.
The airfield was abandoned after 1945. No visible traces remain, only the general outlines of the airfield can be recognised from aerial photography.
