Between April and Ocotober 1958 a second (temporary) heliport was used in Brussels at another location than the official heliport for use during Expo58. Its station building had three waiting rooms: one for first time fliers and local traffic, one for international traffic, and a VIP room. Besides having helicopters in the middle of the city, the airport was also well known for its bar-restaurant Helistar.

After it's final use in October 1958 the area was converted into a park (Parc de la Porte 'Anvers). All the buildings are gone without trace, but the heliports tarmac and landing platforms are still readily visible.
