The old Cēsis airfield is an airfield 85 kilometers northeast of Riga, Latvia.
The airfield was built by the Soviet Union in the 1960s. It was used for the flying activities of DOSAAF and consists of a large flying field, a medium sized platform and some hangars to the northwest of the runway.
No photos of the airfield while in use have been located
In 2010, Latvian Airfields listed the airfield as usable. A flying club (photos from past and present) is still active at the airfield, in spite of a new airfield opening only a few hundred meters to the southeast.

Thanks to Janis Bitenieks for helping me with this airfield!
