Air field Esperstedt (german: Flughafen Esperstedt or Einsatzhafen Esperstedt) was a military airfield notrh of Erfurt, Thuringia, Germany.
The airfield existed between 1935 and 1945, and was run by Flugplatz-Kommando 21/IV. It was connected to the national railway grid by its own railway line 2km north of the air field.
Units known to have used the airfield were:

Jagdgeschwader (Fighter Wing) 2 (Stab. and IV.Staffel),
Jagdgeschwader 3 (III.Gruppe)
Jagdgeschwader 400 (Stab. and I.Staffel)
first Gruppe (Group) of Jagdgeschwader 300 - (I./JG300).

From the air the airfield and its connecting railway line are still recognisable. The whole area has been returned to agricultural use however, with the exeption of two areas on the northwest and southwest of the air field. Those two areas are used by a concrete mixing plant.
One of the bridges for the railway line (with tracks) existed as late as 2010.
