Hengelo airfield (dutch: vliegveld Hengelo) was an airfield 130 kilometers east of Amsterdam. 
The airfield was in use as early as 1913 and founded by the cities most important industrialists. An airshow (then called an aerial demonstration) was held in October 1920.
The airfield did not last very long after that. As early as 1921 construction began on a new airfield to serve the Twente region, although it took until 1928 to start a company to run that airfield and until August 1931 for it to officially open.

Today nothing remains of the former airfield. The area was built over in 1948 with the Veldwijk sports stadium, which was renamed Fanny Blankers Koen stadium in 1981.
