Air field Karter (also known as Karter Air Base, İlker Karter Air Base, or Pınarbaşı airfield) is a small airfield in Kyrenia, in the Turkish administered part of Cyprus.
I have been unable to trace when the airfield was built. Aerial photography suggests, however, that the airfield existed with two dirt runways before it was upgraded with an asphalt runway. The airfield serves as the Headquarters of the Turkish Army (XI Corps, two divisions) in Cyprus.
