Padovinys air field (possibly also known as Patašinė airfield) is an abandoned airfield 140 kilometers west of Vilnius.
The airfield was built by the Soviet Union in the 1975-1985 timeframe. It was used for agricultural activities by state-run Aeroflot. It consisted of a small runway, connected to medium sized platforms by taxitracks on the northeast side of the runway. In addition, and unlike other similar airfields, this airfield appears to have a small platform with a shed on the northwest side too. After Lithuanian independence in 1990 the airfield was abandoned.

No photos of the airfield while in use have been located

Although the airfield has remained remained untoughed, large parts are becoming overgrown. From aerial photography (Google Earth) the runway seemed to be unusable because of growing brush along its edges. The main 3 platforms have overgrown edges too and grass is growing out of cracks in the concrete. The hangar/shed and platform on the northwest appear to be in only marginally better state. Due to its condition, the runway and the airfield are considered to be no longer usable in any way.

The airfield in 2003. The runway, taxitracks and two platforms were fairly clean and probably usable after a little cleanup (Google Earth)

The platform on the northwest side appears to have had a recent cleanup in this 2010 photo (Google earth)
