Plockton airfield is a small airfield 215 kilometers northwest of Edinburgh
The airfield was built before 1971. The only facilities at Plockton Airfield are the 'honesty box', a hangar and self-service fuel for Jet-A1 with AL48 (F34). Plockton is owned by the Highland Council and managed by PDG Helicopters.

One of the attractions during the Wester Ross Festival of the Countryside in the 1970s was pleasure flights from the little-used airstrip at Plockton to the mountains and the islands, including even St Kilda. Seen from the runway in 2009, Plocktons portable fabric aircraft hangar is more substantial than it
looks, having withstood the winter gales of west coast Scotland in a rather exposed elevated position.
