Air field Polichnitos (Greek: Αερολιμένας Πολιχνίτος) is an abandoned airstrip on the island of Lesbos (Greek: Λέσβος, also known as Lesvos) in Greece
It is located one kilometer east of the town of Polichnitos and crosses the road to that town. I was unable to trace the airfields history, but it appears its last owner/user was the Greek military. During exerecises the military would close off the road, so the use of the runway would be unhindered.
The airstrip allegedly has the perfect take off and landing specifications. Aside from the runway it lacks any infrastructure, though. According to Fallingrain and ourairports.com the airfield is closed.
