Airfield Priekule is an abandoned airfield south of the town of Priekule, 165 kilometers west-southwest of Riga, Latvia.
The airfield was built by the Soviet Union in the 1975-1985 timeframe. It was used for agricultural activities by state-run Aeroflot. It differs from similar airfields in having a 30 meter wide runway and has a taxiway to a fairly large platform to the north of the runway.
No photos of the airfield while in use have been located
In 2011 Latvian Airfields listed the airfield condition as 'generally good'.
Although some asphalt pitting was observed near the RWY12 threshold, the runway was very clean. It can be used for takeoffs and landings. It is uncertified however, and thus officially closed to all traffic.
