Glider site Schinveld is situated near the town of Schinveld in Limburg, the Netherlands.
The site is owned by the First Limburg Glider Club (Dutch: Eerste Limburgse Zweefvliegclub, or ELZC).

The ELZC was founded in 1934, but it did not move into its present location until 1973, well before the establishment of the nearby NATO AWACS base at Geilenkirchen. Although situated in the Netherlands, the Schinveld glider site lies within the German Air Base Geilenkirchen CTR. Geilenkirchen and the glider club have good relations however, and both parties hardly ever disagree over the use of airpace.
