Telsiai air field (Lith: Telšių aerodromas or Telsiai Degaiciai, ICAO: EYTL) is a small airfield 235 kilometers northwest of Vilnius.
The airfield was built by the Soviet Union in the 1975-1985 timeframe.
It was used for agricultural activities by state-run Aeroflot and, given its size, probably also by DOSAAF.
It consists of a 600m runway, connected to two platforms and a single hangar.
No photos of the airfield while in use have been located
Although the airfield is officially still open and has an ICAO code assigned, it is very little used.
As reported by email: "There are still some ULMs in a hangar at Telsiai Degaiciai, but I have never seen one actually fly there.
The hardened runway is in a very bad shape".
