Višķi air field was an airfield 185 kilometers southeast of Riga, Latvia.
The airfield was built by the Soviet Union in the 1975-1985 timeframe and was used for agricultural activities by state-run Aeroflot. It consisted of a small runway, two taxiways and a medium sized platform to the south of the runway.
No photos of the airfield while in use have been located
In 2011, Latvian Aviation updated the status of the airfield, listing it as 'Good'. It reported the runway as "in quite a good condition and can be used for takeoffs and landings", but the apron has some agricultural activity on it.
Successor site MyAirfields reported the status in 2016 as 'good' and stated: It offers easy approaches without any significant obstacles. Runway 08 goes slightly downslope with approx 3 meters of elevation difference between both ends. There is some agricultural activity at the apron, so make sure runway is clear of obstacles. Runway itself is in a quite good condition and can be used for takeoffs and landings.
The airfield is uncertified, which means it is officially closed to all traffic.
The airfields runway was photographed in 2012 by Alinko_fan. The building in the background is built immediately next to the platform.
