Zaiceva air field is an abandoned airfield 135 kilometers east of Riga, Latvia.
The airfield was built by the Soviet Union in the 1975-1985 timeframe. It was used for agricultural activities by state-run Aeroflot.
It consists of a small runway, taxiways and a large platform to the north of the runway.

No photos of the airfield while in use have been located

MyAirfields listed the airfields condition as 'unknown' in 2015. The airfields runway appears to be fairly intact, but the platform is not. The steel frame of a barn is visible in aerial photography. From aerial photography there appears to be little (if any) activity.
The airfield is uncertified and therefore officially closed to all traffic. Also, it is very close (less than two kilometers) to the Russian border, making it less wise to operate from. A flightplan into the area is mandatory.
