Šimkai air field was an airfield 285 kilometers northwest of Vilnius, Lithuania.
The airfield was built by the Soviet Union in the 1975-1985 timeframe and used for agricultural activities by state-run Aeroflot. It consisted of a small runway and a fairly large platform to the east of the runway.
No photos of the airfield while in use have been located
The airfield appears to be relatively intact. A sign and a gate at the entrance show it is private property and therefore off limits.
