Zheglitsa air field (Bulgarian: Жеглица, also spelled as Jeglitza) was an airfield 140 kilometers north of Sofia.
The airfield was built by the Bulgarian Socialist government, presumably in the 1970s. It was used for agricultural activities, a.k.a. 'cropdusting'.
It consisted of a small runway and a small platform to the southwest of the runway.

No photos of the airfield while in use have been located

The airfield fell into disuse after Eastern Block countries faced severe economic challenges after the Cold War ended. In aerial photography from 2005 a construction products plant can be seen on the airfields runway. In photography from 2010 that plant has disappeared, although the soil still clearly showed signs of its former presence.

A plant can be seen in full production on the runway in 2005 (Google Earth).

By 2010 the plant had disappeared and the airfield had more or less been cleaned up (Google Earth)
